Inhibition of Toxic Effects of Oxalate in Sugar Beet Pulp with Adding Ca During Ensiling

چکیده

This study was carried out to eliminate the toxic effect of soluble oxalate in sugar beet pulp (SBP) by ensiling and adding Ca during determine effects obtained silage on sheep. The based two experiments. For first experiment, laboratory silages were prepared as SBP alone with addition molasses straw at different levels dry matter Ca. After fermentation for 120 days, Fleig scores, physical properties, Weende analysis, analysis performed. trial showed that content could be reduced nontoxic second 30% (DM) 45 mg/kg according results experiment. fed 36 sheep divided into six groups. During blood samples rumen fluid collected every 14 days body weights controlled. this experiment amount decreased a tolerable level rumen. Thus, barley straw, molasses, urea, di-calcium phosphate (DCP), calcium source, below levels, added ratio 60%.

Fungal secretomes enhance sugar beet pulp hydrolysis

The recalcitrance of lignocellulose makes enzymatic hydrolysis of plant biomass for the production of second generation biofuels a major challenge. This work investigates an efficient and economic approach for the enzymatic hydrolysis of sugar beet pulp (SBP), which is a difficult to degrade, hemicellulose-rich by-product of the table sugar industry. Three fungal strains were grown on different...

Integrated hydrolyzation and fermentation of sugar beet pulp to bioethanol.

Sugar beet pulp is an abundant industrial waste material that holds a great potential for bioethanol production owing to its high content of cellulose, hemicelluloses, and pectin. Its structural and chemical robustness limits the yield of fermentable sugars obtained by hydrolyzation and represents the main bottleneck for bioethanol production. Physical (ultrasound and thermal) pretreatment meth...

Cellulase Production by Trichoderma reesei using Sugar Beet Pulp

Cellulase production by the fungus Trichoderma reesei was studied using sugar beet pulp (SBP) as a substrate. The subculture medium was a salt solution consisting of KH2PO4, CaCl2, etc. Fungal cells were sub-cultured in an orbital shaker (180 rpm) at 30°C for 1-2 generations (two days for each generation) and were then used as an inoculum. Exponential cells were inoculated into a medium contain...

Metabolic effects of dietary sugar beet pulp or wheat bran in growing female pigs.

An experiment was conducted to determine the effects of feeding a moderate level of 2 different fiber sources on energy metabolites; mitochondrial biogenesis in the intestine, liver, and muscle; and the expression of some genes that regulate energy metabolism in intestine, liver, muscle, and adipose tissue. Female pigs (n = 36; BW = 15.0 ± 0.7 kg) were fed diets containing no added fiber, 12.5%...
